Customer Service Representative
(Maternity Leave Replacement)
Duties
·
Answer incoming sales and
customer service inquiries via phone
and Internet
· Outgoing
sales calls to existing customers
(upgrades/new services) and
potential customers
·
Arrange installation
appointments and book in billing
system
·
Arrange service calls and
prepare work orders
·
Tier 1 support for cable TV
support calls
·
Prepare work orders and
documentation packages for
installers each day
·
Process debit or credit card
payments in person or via phone
·
Assist in monthly bill
preparation, including operation of
bill stuffing machine
·
Deal with non-payment issues
by customers
·
Other duties as designated by
Office Manager or General Manager
Expected
Competencies
·
Excellent written and verbal
English
·
Courteous
and professional phone manner
· Working
knowledge of Windows XP/Vista, Microsoft
Word and Excel
·
Familiarity with TV technology an
asset
·
Ability to maintain positive
attitude while pursuing outgoing
sales opportunities
Remuneration:
$12.50-$13.50/hr. for 40 hour week
plus comprehensive benefits package,
monthly RRSP contribution and
free cable TV, phone and Internet service (for
local on-system resident).
Expected duration of
employment is from June 2008 until
approximately September 2009.
The possibility of full-time
employment beyond the maternity
replacement period exists.
