Are there problems on all your channels?

  • Be sure your TV and VCR are on the correct channel. Generally you must be on channel 3 or 4, depending on the output of the TV

  • Make sure your VCR is turned off when viewing TV channels

  • Check the TV fine tuning

  • Make sure that everything is plugged in correctly. Check all of your cable and electrical connections. If you have an external converter, try unplugging it from the electrical outlet for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. If the problem persists, connect the cable from the wall directly to your TV. If you are still having trouble, call (905) 985-8171

Are you only receiving channels 2-13?

Check the CATV button on your television (or remote control unit for the TV or VCR). Your TV must be set in the CATV or Cable mode to receive all the channels. You can reprogram your set on the on-screen menu using channel search, channel memory or auto-programming (depending on the TV). This should restore all your channels.
