I am ashamed to say
we were seduced by the promises of
bigger, better, faster. Lured into
the web of the Giant Mother of all
phone companies. In days we realized
what a terrible mistake we had made.
It was confusing, temperamental,
expensive, and unreliable.
The honeymoon was now
officially over when we tried to
cancel our service. We were hit with
multiple penalties, inflated bills
and conflicting punishments with
every phone call. We were so
exasperated and angry. All we wanted
to do was go back to our local cable
company. After all we had excellent
service there and at better prices.
I called up Compton
and a young lady named Lindsey
welcomed us back. She was
sympathetic and caring making the
transition as smooth as possible.
This horrible experience has made us
realize how important it is to us to
be served by a local company serving
our community. To actually call and
speak to a real human whose job it
is to serve YOU! I can't tell you
how good it feels to finally be free
even with their outrageous penalties
and to be home again with Compton.

service from Compton whenever I have
had a problem. This certainly was
not the case when I previously was
with Bell. That is why I made the
change to Compton.

service. The transfer went

answered all our questions ahead
of time and Greg looked after
the installation. Two
things we really appreciate - a
live person answers your phones
and you come when you say you
will. Not many cable or
telephone companies can boast
that!

Thank you for your recent
foray into home telephony.
I could not be more pleased
with your service and 100%
reliability. A
week after we changed from
Bell, there was a
significant power
interruption to all of
Uxbridge. The phone worked
absolutely as normal
throughout this time - just
like Bell has in the past.
One of the most compelling
reasons for wanting a change
from Bell
was their unrelenting
insistence of their monthly
touch-tone charge of $2.80.
That was
the deal breaker for me,
despite Bell's incredibly
reliable service (Five
nines, I believe, is
the terminology used -
99.999% availability)
It didn't hurt that call and
number ID were included, as
well as call-waiting (which
I summarily ignore) and call
answer too. That's a
significant saving per month
for us over Bell's cost for
the same service.
I have not noticed any
appreciable difference in
the service between the two
carriers, and I heartily
recommend this Bell
replacement service.

I just wanted to
say how pleased I am with my
recent switch from Bell to
Compton (phone, Internet and
TV). The excellent
installation and obvious pride
in workmanship done by your
technician (Andrew) was very
impressive. He did all
that was asked without any
problem, and was very
knowledgeable and courteous
throughout the installation.
So far, all 3 of my services
have worked flawlessly, and am
especially impressed with the
Internet speed. I would
highly recommend anybody
considering switching back to
cable to be a wise choice.
I am saving about $50 a month
for the same things I had with
Bell. Thanks again for a
job well done!
